How Do I Clean My ZOEVA Bestseller Brush? 

Thorough cleaning is essential to ensure that you can continually enjoy your ZOEVA brush set. It guarantees the longevity of your ZOEVA products and prevents dirt from becoming stuck in your brush’s fine bristles and ending up on your skin. 

How you clean your ZOEVA bestseller brush depends on its material. We recommend using professional brush soap to clean makeup brushes, but you don’t necessarily need special cleansers for them. A mild, ideally perfume-free shampoo is also sufficient: natural cosmetics are especially gentle. 

First, rinse your ZOEVA brush in lukewarm water – this removes the larger traces of leftover makeup. Next, apply a pea-sized amount of shampoo to the brush hairs and work it in until it begins to foam. Our ZOEVA Brush Cleansing Pad can help you here. Now you can rinse out the shampoo until the water runs clear again, which gently removes makeup residue and dirt. To avoid water collecting in the brush handle, it is important that it is not stored in a container and that you hold your brush downwards, even while rinsing. Blow drying may damage the fine bristles of your brush. Simply let them air dry on a clean hand towel. 

How often you need to clean your ZOEVA brushes depends on your usage. While foundation brushes should be rinsed after every use, it’s enough to clean eyeshadow brushes every two weeks. We recommend that you clean your brushes at regular intervals. In between washes, we recommend tapping your brushes against a sink to remove excess pigment.
